Kopar is a seafood restaurant by the Old Harbour. Our main focus is on locally caught seafood & crustaceans and we are especially proud of our crab soup, made from the icelandic rock crab from Hvalfjörður. Head chef Ylfa is a member of the gold medal winning national culinary team and she prepares the seafood in a unique and delicate manner, giving you an experience you won’t forget.
Kopar offers a variety of Icelandic produce, including meat and game although our main emphasis is on the fruit of the sea. Enjoying a night out at Kopar is a must, while visiting Reykjavík, where you can delight yourself with delicious food, great service, a.m.azing atmosphere and the best view in town, overlooking the harbour.
